What do you think about Halloween? Why?

Is a funny party, but I not practice this party. For the disguises, and the treat of the kids, is funny.

How do people in Chile celebrate it?

It seemed American Halloween, but a little different, things how the parties with disguises or the young people drinking alcohol in the parks or in her houses.

Second Activity: HALLOWEEN!

As you may know, American people celebrate Halloween. So, I want you to observe the pictures below:

Hello!

I really want to thank all of the students that have reply my instructions. But, all of those who have not written your thoughts yet, please do it. I will be waiting for you guys!

I will not use students names or last names, and I will only post their comments here.

Student 1.

First, I will talk about my classmates, they are nice person, and I see them as, I really liked it. They made me laugh a lot.

Activities were nice and very funny, the activity that I liked was dancing, cha cha cha slide, the music and choreography were so good and also very entertaining. We sang songs too, as: buzz buzz buzzy, a cool song, maybe the best of all the English Winter.

The summer and English Winter Camp are good initiatives.

From my point of view is that I think you should keep doing things like this because it is very helpful for Chilean young people.

Student 2.

My experience in Winter Camp 2008 was terrific an unforgettable, because I knew wonderful and special people, who I still keep in touch with.

What I liked the most was the opportunity given by the MINEDUC towards young people interested in a language that day to day is being made universal in today’s world; also, it was
great that from 9 a.m to 6 in the afternoon we had to speak absolutely everything in English, and this me helped very much to improve my level of the language, since in my school, however my teacher of English can’t have the attention for even student, Winter Camp we received enough aid from all our teachers, mainly, in the mornings, that were we had “classes”, soon in the afternoon we had very interesting and entertaining activities.

I hope that this type of activities will continue to be made in our country, because as I previously said, the English, day after day, is becoming the official language of our globalized world, and dominating it open the doors to turn to us as a better internationally evaluated country.

Student 3.

Winter Camp was so funny, I met whit new friends, and , in winter camp I could improve my english. I like it so much winter camp, that I wanna go to summer camp, I don't know if it possible, bit anyway... Well, winter Camp was a place where you could learn more English that in your English school class because we didn't use only books, we had to complete letters of songs, and we had to dance, we had to make dialogues, and that, makes that English doesn't be boring.

I think that English it's important because is the language of the future, in all the works ask you if you know speak English because your custumers can be from others countries. And all over the world people speak English, so, it is the best way to talk with other people, who live in another country.

To all of the STUDENTS, who have not send their answers yet, your deadline will be on October 26.

And please keep writing, since this is one of the best ways to learn English.

First Activity.

Hello my DEAR STUDENTS,

From now on, we will write each other in English, and if you do not understand something please let me know, I will be really happy if you do it, you know any questions or doubts...

So, I knew that you all attended to the English Winter Camp. Now, your first task is to post here in this blog at least 3 paragraphs about: The English Winter Camp, if you like it or not. And also, I want you to tell me and share with the rest of your classmates in the group, why do you think English is very important in Chile.

These questions must be within the 3 paragraphs. But If you want to add a 4th paragraph it O.K too, and please no longer than 4.

You have to post your answers until October, 10th. That is your deadline.

I hope this work will be fruitful for all of us!
